Rev Dr Richard Waugh QSM
A long-time AHSNZ member, Richard was raised in an aviation family. As a trained historian he has specialised in the history of New Zealand airlines from the 1930s to the 1980s and has authored/co-authored 12 civil aviation books. He has organised many aviation historical events around New Zealand and since 1998 has served as chaplain to the Honourable Company of Air Pilots (formerly Air Pilots Guild). Richard resides in Christchurch.
Ron Ark
Ron has served as Secretary/Treasurer of AHSNZ since 2016 and has wide experience of the New Zealand aviation historical scene. His aviation interests go back to childhood days when he lived close to Christchurch Airport. He has an extensive collection of aviation memorabilia, especially photographs. Continuing to live in Christchurch, he has been the Archivist at the Canterbury Aero Club since 1995 and more recently a trustee of NZ Aviation Images.
Phil Craig
An air traffic controller in Wellington, Phil has been active in AHSNZ for over 40 years, including service on the national committee and editing the Aerolog magazine for many years. His keen interest is to record aviation history as it occurs, and since 2017 he has edited the informative SPANZ Aero News.
